AUSTIN KENPO KARATE’S CONCEALED HANDGUN
NEW! ALL DAY SATURDAY COURSE
Austin Kenpo Karate offers a variety services ranging from hand-to-hand combat to ancient and modern weapons self defense, including hand gun training and concealed hand gun licensing for the state of Texas. Sifu Schroder has 25 years experience in the self defense industry.
Classes are conducted at Austin Kenpo Karate, located at 5501 North Lamar Blvd Ste. A-225, Austin, TX 78751. Austin Kenpo Karate owns and operates a 24-passenger shuttle bus and will transport students from the classroom to the range.
Students need to bring their firearm and 100 rounds of ammunition, and eye and ear safety equipment, which are mandatory. If you do not own a firearm and need to borrow one let us know in advance. Available firearms include a 1911 Colt Commander 45 cal. (semi-auto.), a Beretta 9 mm. (semi-auto) and a taurus Tracker 44. mag (revolver). Please note there will be an additional fee of $20.00 for use of the firearm, and students are required to provide their own ammunition. The firing range is a private outdoor range so there are none of the disruptions and safety issues that are indicative of the public ranges.
Students: Please execute proper safety procedures when arriving at the studio. Firearms need to be unloaded and kept in their range bags until asked to remove them. When asked to remove your firearm please remember that it is always considered to be loaded; do not point your firearm at anyone. Any violation of this rule will result in your being asked to leave and you will forfeit any refund. Revolvers should have their cylinder open and dry. Semi autos should be locked back and the magazine empty and ejected.
